Another important step was taken in the progress of organisation of the 24th Deaflympics in Caxias do Sul. This Tuesday afternoon (October 26), the first meeting was held with SLOs (Sports Liaison Officers), who are the local specialists in each sport who will talk to the respective sport. international authority of each modality.

Organising Committee CEO Richard Douglas Ewald explained to all SLOs designated by the Municipal Department of Sport and Recreation (SMEL) how the organising efforts had advanced in recent months and explained the importance of each in their respective sport.

The Municipal Secretary of Sports and Leisure Gabriel Citton was present and agreed that it is essential that each official do their part so that the 24th Deaf Olympics has an undeniable level of quality and thus leave their legacy to the community.

The Interim President of the International Sports Committee for the Deaf (ICSD) Gustavo Perazzolo appealed to the SLOs to face this mission with great dedication and commitment, as he knows the competence and importance of each one.
