ICSD President meets with IOC President Bach in Lausanne

Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), received Adam Kosa, President of the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD), at the Olympic House on 13 June 2023.

The meeting was a way for the newly elected ICSD President to discuss with the IOC President how conditions can be created to resume a cooperation between the two organisations again. Top of the agenda was the recent developments of the ICSD, which were acknowledged by the IOC President.

Adam Kosa conveyed his gratitude for the professional support and recognition granted by the IOC and assured that the ICSD is committed to ensuring transparency, accountability and engagement to principles of ethics within the organisation and its affiliated members.

The meeting concluded with the Presidents looking forward to a further fruitful exchange between IOC and the ICSD in the upcoming months.
