| Additional Information: | The bidding process is open to all ICSD National Deaf Sports Federation members, cities such as Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau, private event organizers, and corporate partners.
The duration of the Summer Deaflympics generally will be no longer than twelve (12) days, exclusive of the Opening Ceremony and pre-games events/qualifying rounds.
Summer Deaflympics consists of nineteen (19) sports: Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Bowling, Cycling Road, Football, Judo, Karate, Mountain Bike, Orienteering, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis, Volleyball, Wrestling Freestyle, and Wrestling Greco-Roman. The host city may add up to two (2) demonstration sports.

Important Dates:
26 February 2010 - Interested parties submit their bid package.
Month of July 2010 - ICSD Representative will conduct site visits and create complete reports to all ICSD National Deaf Sports Federation members.
12 February 2011 - Votes will be held in Vysoké Tatry, Slovakia by ICSD National Deaf Sports Federation members. |
