When you go to the Summer and Winter Deaflympics, you can look forward to an unforgettable experience. At the Summer Deaflympics in Taipei, Chinese Taipei, you may have been among the more than 4,000 athletes and officals and thousands of spectators arriving from more than 75 countries, at the biggest and greatest Deaflympics ever held.

The stage was set in one of the most experienced and welcoming host cities in the world, and you may have competed in some of the finest and most famous sports venues. Off the field you had exchanged experiences and ideas in the spirit of Unity Through Sports, on which the Deaflympics have been built since deaf athletes met in the first games in 1924.

If you are going to the 16th Winter Deaflympics in Salt Lake City, United States in 2007, you will be among over 600 athletes and officials in another of the world's most famous sports venues.
