Member of the CISS Double Games Honorable Club. Competed as an alpine skier at International Winter Silent Games in 1955 and in 1959 (6th place, giant slalom). 8 times he participated at Deaf World Games as a shooter, which made him the CISS history's most decorated Games medal winner – male or female – in any sports as he collected an aggregate of 42 medals – 19 gold, 18 silver and 5 bronze. His father, Nino Calissano, was also a shooter and won 4 medals, including 2 gold, at the 1981 Deaf World Games. In his lifetime he broke 20 world records in 11 different individual and team shooting disciplines.
